Tuning definitions please if you'd be so kind

Just out of interest,as I have no knowledge whatsoever regards a couple of terminologies that you hear quite often. Firstly,regards the Avanti tt3...What does MWO port layout/design mean? Secondly the one I hear a lot now and through the years is Boyessen ports,layout and reeds. Sorry if I sound a bit naieve,but I genuinely have never known what they mean cheers,Speedy.

I forget exactly, but the MWO is something like Moss Wrap Over port, it refers to a type of feeder port on the piston port TT3 kit which feeds from the main transfers to a port on the back wall of the cylinder.

Boyessen was the surname i believe of the chap who pioneered the research of feeder ports which directly connected the inlet area of a reed valve engine and the main transfers. He also developed other items like dual stage reeds (standard reeds were a single layer, his were a dual layer).
