still working on lil bits and bobs, hoping that this weekend I can get a good 4-5 hours out in the garage

finished the oil tank and made a bung for it


I welded the studs to it and trial fitted it, works well.


I dont like the GP tail light, never have so I got a cheap S3 unit and just cant leave things alone, I like it when you can modify something but it isnt blatently obvious


minus 16mm, it is flat, its sat on an envelope


the result, doubt people will notice unless they are told, but I like that, it looks better in my opinion, will have an LED board in there next week, decided to make that myself too, why not, nothing to lose

very nice project and coming along very quickly too, I wish I had more time to play with Ninja Vepsa, I am trying to
find somebody local (West Midlands) to take it to drop it off and say play with that for a bit and I will see to when its done... otherwise
it might not ever get done.........Madspeed I might be in touch with you if you a fancy a challenge
there is a guy close to me here but he has a few broken bones so he cant do much for a while which is a shame

Had a go at making my own led tail light.
£2.79 of leds.
Scrap bit of acrylic drilled
Glued in the leds
Soldered the wires up.
Will remove the bulb holder from the reflector and bond this onto it with some no nails... its free
Full power is brake light. Current limited for tail.
Very bright. Draws 270mA in brake mode and cost almost naff all.

The pic makes it look white but its not. Its a good red colour.

Absolutely love builds like this it shows the type of people we will need when it all goes to sh#t and we need to make stuff from all the broken bits lol
Not saying you should do it but having seen your customisation of the rear light I saw Chip Foose take some vw camper rear lights and he shaved off all the letters with a Stanley knife blade subtle but effective
