I've tried both and the NK wins for me. A very good bit cheaper and a great fit (as is the Franspeed) In my opinion the NK gives the best bang for your buck of any race pipe.

All depends on what you want the bike to ride like; touring, hooligan or somewhere in between.

are these findings based on plug and play ts1;s or torquey tunes. for the record my nk rally does most things on a reeded tuned rapido 225 barrel, but won't rev stupidly high.

In which case I don't know about the NK but your current Fran Race should do the job nicely.

NK race is dogshit and should be banned, it has no bottom end or midrange. Peak RPM and BHP is great, but the rest is missing. Franspeed race will give same peak BHP figure but at lower RPM.....with more torque and mid range.
However.....NK RALLY pipe has a right mid range kick to it and can pull gearing well, with a decent over-rev too. Peak numbers less than hooligan pipes, thus less boasting rights, but a better ride with right gearing.
