PWK jets

Hiya, I know that PWK main jets can differ in length between makes ( OKO /Stage 6 / Kehin etc ) , but does it really make that much differernce to the flow if the hole is the correct size. I was just trying to understand the way the fuel flows up and through from the bowl ?
Got a load of jets to use during my long my long and laborious recent plug chopping and not sure that really the 1.5mm ish seemed to make much difference.
Got the imola on the rich side now ,......... but it really does fly.
Enough to make me do that involentary grimace in fear.

I have an abundance of jets from various makes including ScootRs and the mains are all the same size (length)? That said, they only pass fuel from the float bowl so I'd suspect that length wouldn't really matter

Some of my main jets are about 1.5 mm shorter than others ( stage 6 PWK jets ) . I can`t see how it would make much difference either unless someone wants to correct us ??? anyway cheers Coaster

Ive had a few oko/stage 6/pwk carbs there arw large and small body 30mm ones the small ones are over bored 24mm bodys the large ones can be bored out to 35mm if need be the float bowl on the large ones are bigger as anything that needs a 35mm carb will suck more fuel the internal passageways are bigger and they flow more fuel than the small body ones I always buy the large body ones for that reason , I wonder if the longer jets are from a large body one

I`ve got a few PWK`s , OKO`s , Stage 6 ( the best quality one IMHO ), really poor Kehin copies and and a really recent scootrs one .
They are all 28 or 30 mm
I have noticed that all the float bowls are not interchangable but Ive never noticed that the bodies are of different sizes ......live and learn , cheers

I'm a bit confused, the body on my ScootRs 28/30 (oval) PWK and BGM 30mm PWK are identical as far as I could tell and I THOUGHT the float bowls were the same.....got me wondering now
