Thinking of building an rb200, just wondering what's the best pipe to run? What gearing will suit me best? Only really gonna be used for short distance runs so want acceleration more than too end. Will standard 12v ignition be ok? What's the best clutch to use?

Cheers

Hi mate, I'm building an RB200 myself at the moment and I've gone with the NK race, intermediate flywheel with 120w bgm stator and Pacemaker box on 16/47 sprockets. I'm not sure of my carb set up yet but it'll either be a 30 or 34mm Dell'orto. I've gone with the Readspeed 5 plate clutch with MB springs these are a nice cheap clutch option and should handle an untuned RB200 no bother. I like the NK pipe it's relatively cheap and was designed for the RB with plenty of bang for your buck.

RB20 NK Mid Range 34vhsb and 5.1 final drive, af C/R box,af flywheel, could be a bit taller for the street (5.0) but if you want a hooligan then let it rev.Standard Stator (needs m tec really ) and AF Cassette clutch. Just built to accelerate and not much else. Image
