Layshaft opinions

Cheers for the advice, kind of backs up what I thought. The only one with a half decent bearing face has knackered splines.

New one it is then.

Are there any issues with the MB layshaft and the cyclone box? I think I heard this somewhere but can't he sure. What's the best quality after the MB ones?

There's been some discussion that there might be, with some combinations of layshaft / bearing.
