TBH, the more I think of colours the less sure I am. Too much choice is doing my head in. My last couple of build have been easy, just do it the original colour.Muttley McLadd wrote:What about the chrome yellow of the early 70s?
There are a whole load of original colours here: http://vesparally200.tumblr.com/

Don't you dis' my parafin heater! It's been in the family for at least 30 years. I can't go splurging perfectly good money on new fangled gadgets to warm up the garage.

If you did decide on the early 70's yellow a la:
http://scooterotica.org/forum/viewtopic ... 10&t=27887
and you wanted a paint match rather than guess which paint code it actually is, I've got to go to a paint supplier next week to get a match for another scoot. I could get them to run their computer over my Rally if you wanted. The offer's there anyway.
Good luck with whatever you decide

When I asked my wife what colour to paint it, she suggested "'70's f@@k off orange".
I think Piaggio Giallo Arancio 916 fits the bill nicely.

Now all I have to do is remember how it all goes back together.
