Tried both , but for purpose of trying to reduce pinging I use be3 as its richer but in a malossi I had a few years ago I ran ac 140, be4, 2.4 pj and 130 mj but this engine just 4 strokes on those jets or anything like.
I want to give a new head a go but not sure which to go for and will do dyno
Which cylinder head for malossi 220

Yes I used a be4 with my old malossi it cleared the mid range up.
Do you know the head volume to get the compression ratio, as If too high you could get altered to suit? Rather than new head.

I was once told that a P2s should have a squish of 2.5 to 3mm and a compression ration no higher than 10:1. Not sure if that applies to Malossi kits.
The squish sounded huge to me but I respect what he says.
