gear swivel home made
made in my shed doing the adjuster block next
I like the look of that
Don't let Mr B see it though,
He isn't very keen on all the Freds in their sheds
If he see's it, tell him Adam W made you do it

Nice work Martin , You must have a steady hand to file that chamfer so evenly
When i was young my Mom said "if you haven't got anything nice to say, say nothing at all " ..................... and people wonder why I'm quiet around them !

Love, it nice work.
I saw that Tino did the same a few years back but I have one question, does anyone have experience of how the bearing faces wear on the cable trunions and pivot? I did initially think, great that will sort a part problem out then I got concerned it would only last a year or two of serious riding which isn't so good.
I guess you could hard anodise which would help

yeah I was a bit concerned about wear so I made the pivot out of brass .and all the oil and petrol that ends up all over the place should lube it a bit

Have just seen these things are £100 a pop from Cam Lam and I like the idea of a screw down top instead of that daft circlip. I think I might have a play over Christmas and see if I can design one with roller bearings and seals just to go completely OTT.
Having just tried to fit the new Casa chain tensioner (which does not fit properly and is an absolute pile of poo) I'm going to have a go at one of those too. Really, how had can it be to f**k up the design and construction of a chain tension..but they did it.
