Hi all
Mate of mine wants me to fit a Taffspeed copy to his 63 Li. Currently runs alloy 175 kit with 25 mm PHBL, and a clubman, Li 150 gearing and final drive ratio 5.22. If I fit a Taffspeed to it will it work best if I change the final drive to 4.9?

Any advice greatly received, Andy

I'd try it as it is first. If it hits a brick wall at 6000 rpm but feels like there's more left then it may be worth trying. Personally I'd leave it as is.

Do you have any stainless ones in stock Martin?
Will give it a go and see how it is before I opening it up and changing things.
