I met Rich at Mallory in April.

I didn't know him from Adam but knew of him by his posts on here. We spent 10 minutes or so chatting about my racer that Dan and Sean had built for me, his sprinter and generally talking b@11@x. When he wandered off I felt like I'd been mates with him all my life.

I am profoundly saddened that he has gone, but glad that our paths through life crossed, albeit briefly.

R.I.P.
Did you have to do that?

I never met the guy or even spoke to him via this forum as far as I'm aware. I wouldn't have known him if I passed him in the street.

Yet when I heard of his death, my first reaction was to find my daughter and give her a hug and tell her I loved her- something blokes of my generation have problems with from time to time.

So even in death Rich you've helped me. Thank-you.

We're so busy these days and wrapped up in our own little worlds, that we sometimes forget the people who really matter to us- its always "we can do that/ tell them we love them tomorrow"

Tell you what, one day "tomorrow" WILL be too late- do it now and do it often.

Chris
