Hi
had this speedo fitted to my S in Law's LML deluxe but she wanted it returned it to an original speedo fitted one and replaced its inner and outer cable however it doesn't work is there a special way the cable goes at the drive end.

With the cable in the hub and the plate bolted down, does it turn at the headset end when you spin the wheel?

when refitting worm or cable the worm can rise up so not engaging with wheel on hub by spinning wheel the other way it sinks down correctly to engage otherwise it can chew worm up streight away

when you say "spinning wheel the other way " I take it you mean turning the the wheel in reverse (backwards, towards the bike)?
