couldnt get squish any lower unless i didnt use a gasket , af advised me not to

Take no notice of AF... anyway what does he know.... :lol:... only kidding Ray if your reading this...

But really it does need to run at, or less than 1.5mm.... or it will more than likely suffer from premiture ignition ( Detonation ) causing a loss of power and possible overheating problems.... I run mine without a head gasket to bring the squish down but kept the base gasket on... and its been fine... :)

No head gasket for me,too.

Otherwise the squish was around 2mm.

Me too. Base gasket only, Wellseal on head, squish 1.32.

1.2 to 1.4 is the way to go.................. :D
