Guys,

I've got ratty 1962 Eibar Li 150 coming to me as a winter project so I'm going to be asking for some advice. I still can't quite believe I've been converted to an S2 but I think its that lovely turning Spanish mudguard that's taken my eye - like the Nigella of the Lambretta world.....

I have lots of random ideas going round in mind for what to do but for starters I quite like the look when they have a side stand so my current questions are:

1. Anyone recommend a particular side stand?
2. How stable are they?
3. Does the frame need any additional support?
4. Would you leave the original stand on (for convenience when working on it)?

If theres already a thread on this subject point me in that direction. I couldn't find one on a search.

Ta.

Don't bother...

They aren't stable.

They have no purpose if you already have a 'proper' stand.

Off the shelf ones seldom fit.
Did you have to do that?
