Series 2 question

Have an indian series 2 i need to put a number plate on. My usual velcro method wont work because of the curve of the loop. Is there a specific surround for series 2,s? It doesnt need to be nos or anything like that just something that will stay on... :D :D

Think i just found it http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAMBRETTA-SER ... 43bf6626a5 I presume it bolts on but i cant see any holes in it?

Should be 3 holes in the 3 recesses you see.
It needs 3 rubber packers behind, the top one being fatter to bring the mount level.

You could just handpaint a number plate to the bodywork and save a few quid though :-)

I di think about that but the scoot already looks like a pull. Dont want encourage the boys in blue any more than needs be... ;) :D

found these 2 on http://www.scooterrestorations.com/lamb ... te-holder/ and http://www.scooterrestorations.com/lamb ... te-holder/ . I have a BGM led and its an early series 2 but does it matter which i get, im presuming the early version for obvios reasons. Whats the differnce between the two?

Early S2 had the S1 slim light,
Late S2 had the larger unit.
If you use the wrong backing plate it wont clear the light unit.
