i use a original AF flywheel on my Ts1 Cutdown, love the quick throttle resonse on gear changes. Use a mid weight (lightened by a good friend ) on my full frame Rapido 225 that i usually ride two`s up , the extra weight helps on pulling away.

I've had two SIL flywheels done, one from Beedies and the other from Scooter Restorations.Sent them/took them to AF and had them send them away to be lightened and the fins shortened. Apparently the longer fins do nothing to aid any more cooling, but limit your choice of flywheel cover.I find the midweight to be a happy compromise, especially if your a heavy rider or doing two up,that's when the lightweight becomes a pain to ride. Some have the centre boss welded on the flywheel also.I'm not sure if this is needed or not, some say yes, others that it's an overkill.Cheers,Speedy.
