Just brought a Dellorto MA19 BS5 gasket set from Scooterestorations and they are to be frank "f****n* dogshi*". Only 2 out of the whole set fitted! Petrol coming out like Niagra falls, i mean how hard can it be to punch a hole in a bit of cardboard....

Anyways, anyone point me in the direction of a company who sells gaskets that fit.

Oh yeah they also sent me a new slide but it will only fit back to front with the crescent side facing the back? whats all that about? The offset needle is on the opposite side to what it should be? Is this a slide for another carb meaning they have sent me the wrong one or has some retard knocked out a load the wrong way round?

Help!!!!!!!!!!

Im sure they are very helpful but to be honest i dont really fancy calling them. I just wanted the correct parts in exchange for money. Not to much to ask.

definitely NOT too much to ask Syd.
However I have NEVER (and I buy a lot from them) had so much as 1 duff part from SR (and there's NO ONE else I can say that about in 30+ years).
So worth calling or emailing mate.

Thats one dealer who you can really trust.

Its the whole process of having to chase a £4 part or get something changed. I spend to much time doing this sort of stuff. It drives me insane. It sucks the f****n* life out of me! I neary launched the carb through the garage window. Totally out of proportion i know. But it really bugs me.
I have brought so much stuff that just doesnt fit and yet i do it over and over again.

Does no one else feel likwise?

Time for a holiday...

Nope just saying somethings wrong and it's rare for it to happen with Scooter Resto's as evidenced by previous posts.

But if you cant be arsed to drop them a line how would they be able to put something right, assuming it's thier fault?
