Are the LML 5 port 150cc engines any good,new engines on eBay anybody had anything to do with them,cheers

Yes especially the reed valve engines but if you are going to put a kit on it i would change the crank

A good mate of mine has one of the first 5 port 150 reeds, a NV 150 if memory serves. Rides very nicely and smoothly and it's one of the very few scooters I'd be tempted to leave exactly as it came from the factory other than having a look at the crank. At least some of them came with a plastic cage on the bigend bearing.

5 port red carbon reeds and a sip road are an ideal set up for tootling round town and open roads
