Need a bit of help.
Scoots RS outboard disc.
Pistons seized so replaced the caliper with a new nissin one and new pads.
Now when braking under 10 miles an hour(coasting up to lights etc) I'm getting squealing. If I pull the brakes on harder this goes.
Anyone else had this?
What is the best way to stop it?

Small smear of copper grease on the back of the pads might work.

Just wanted to post up a reply has I hate these unfinished posts.
rosscla, looks like that worked a treat putting copper slip on the back of the pads.
It seems there is a certain amount of movement of the pads on the caliper pins.
Under slow braking (coming up to lights etc) the pads grip the disc and move around within the caliper on the pins. This movement is tiny but enough to start resonating against the brake pistons, like a finger on a wine glass. This resonating cause the squealing. A warped or heavily scored disc will just make this problem worse.
The grease allows the pads to move but without transferring the resonating through to the caliper.
Took it all apart again and roughed up the disc with emery paper as the last 5 years had slightly scored the disc. Cleaned everything, applied copper slip grease to the back of the pads and no squealing under braking.

As long as you don't over do the copperslip, a smear works just as well. Too much can contaminate the seals.
As you say, you are just trying to decouple the pad/caliper slightly.
Porsche sell a proper little pad to glue on the back. ££'s, but with 4 or 6 pot calipers, I guess cheap insurance. But if you can afford the car ...
