was just about to swap my carb but when I tried to drain the fuel pipe & bowl by running the engine it wouldn't die. I've taken it round the block a couple of times & it seems the fuel tap is not shutting off the supply in the closed position. it was fine a few days ago when I had to fill up after going onto reserve. any tips on what might be wrong - is it new tap time or is there an easy fix?
