About 650 quid for a bare frame apparently

The short answer is a 1400 bike run of LI125 that were a lot like late SX.
Plastic glove box, push in dampers, clip on panels, square horn cast badge. Pretty rare in Lambretta terms and not a lot is known as to the why they were produced like that. My theory is they were prototyping the production changes but that is just a guess.
it is but stamped li 125 s4

I think there was some weird stuff going on at the factory around that time. Possibly LI's came back into production during the SX run for some unknown reason? (large order from overseas perhaps?
Also, there are known examples of LI bodied scooters but on SX150 frames around 1969- why? anyones guess!
We'll probably never know with the passage of time now.
Good old Innocenti- still making us think, 40+ years after they went bust!!
