Have used the search and been back through 30 pages,
I need some new engine mounts for My daily: Rapido 250.
I need to replace some 'Tutto Lambretta' ones which are a copy of the last Innocenti design. They were fantastic when fitted, but have degenerated and are now dangerously soft after approx 23k/4years. (I know that is not bad performance). These have outlasted eg SIL 2 hole by 3x.
The Scootererotica search for best mounts on the market: Humph ... at 10 pages in revealed a lack of consensus and a lot of blather about the BGM ones (no thumbs-up from longer term users) and a lot of irrelevant crap getting to page 10. (Scootererotica search needs improving!).
I've just built some solid 'Casa' into my new-build rally S2 - but have been informed that I will regret the decision.
My instant options are SIL 3 hole (life expectanct?) or AF Extended set-up (any good or just retro?)
Can anyone make an informed recommendation? The R250 puts some torque down daily, the rear shock is Taffspeed ally.

This is what CL say:
New long type engine mount, made by Tutti Lambretta. These are for the GP engine type.
These are a new mount just on the market, research has shown Innocenti were working on sided engine mounts as the N/S always needed replacing more often then the O/S. The mounts come as a pair and are sided. These mounts can also be fitted to engines replacing the short type. You will also need a long engine bar to match. Benefits of upgrading is reduced vibration giving a smoother ride.

I'd a thought that using the new double mount on the kickstart side (belive available from AF?) as this is the one that usually fails first and then either SIL two or three hole mount on the near side would be the best bet. Double mount requires and even longer engine bolt though. And finally to prolong life and protect from oil/petrol contamination of rubber mounts fit one of dem tow bar covers over the top.

I also thought longer engine mounts increased vibration slightly but gave stiffer handling..... stand to be corrected....

I've found it to be the other way around. Less vibration but more movement in the motor (at least with 3 hole type mounts). I have some solid Casa mounts on a motor that I'm trying out in the next month or so.
