I'm running a PX125 engine in a Sprint, fitted with a Pinasco 177 kit, a Sito+ pipe & an up-jetted SI 20/20 carb. I've just swapped the pipe for a SIP Road 2 & its given a nice power boost but I haven't touched the jetting. I've also purchased a 24/24 carb to fit but i'm unsure what the jet settings will need to be. Any advice appreciated

The 20mm carb currently fitted has a 112 main, 140 air, BE5 tube and 45/140 idle. I've done a plug check after a good run with the SIP and it looks lovely.

The 24mm carb as supplied has a 110 main, 120 air, BE4 tube and 50/100 idle. Do I stick it in as it is or use the jet settings from the 20mm?

Don't know too much about Vespa carbs but as your increasing the air intake (20 to 24) your going to have to increase the fuel as well. Putting the 110 in would be smaller than what you're running (112) with the 20. I'ld go as big as you can (120-125 ?) then plug chop and gradually come down till you've got a nice coloured plug.

The other jets will also have to adjusted and changed to suit as well....
