I had one on my old SR top end.
it was ok, had to go really low on the pilot iirc, as if the casting wasn't quite the right bore...?
a mate was having problems with his scoot starting when hot, after trying the usual tricks, turned out to be a dodgy jetex, it was the third carb he tried that actually worked ok, so yeah, possibly a bit hit & miss...
do replace the jets with genuine Dellorto ones

Never had one but "another" forum seemed full of posts wondering why they didn't work. I think that if you get a good one, they're fine but if you get a dodgy one they're a nightmare. Similar to PWKs and OKOs in that respect.

Got a 22mm Jetex on my 175 kitted GP. It works fine so far and I've had no problems hot or cold starting. If it starts to play up though I'll be going for a 25mm Delly running through the standard airbox

I've only had the one, which I am using at present. All I've done is swap the jets for Dell'Orto ones and I have to say that it's a marked improvement on the original Dell'Orto I had fitted, which was a bit sloppy by comparison. It feels snappier. The throttle response is better and it pulls really well. I can't see a reason to fault it at the moment.
