First impressions: Nicely made, looks good quality but would it have killed you to paint the thing.

Second impressions: Better than most stuff you buy for Lambrettas but still needs "persuading" to get it to fit. The exhaust flange welding has two pin hole leaks too which is annoying but not the end of the world.

Third impressions: Definitely accelerates better and revs on further than with the KBA Clubman that I just took off. But....

F*CK ME ITS LOUD!!

Not insanely "get you arrested" loud but a lot louder than the KBA and definitely loud enough to be bloody irritating while you're riding. I can't imagine the neighbours being too chuffed either. I'll have to see whether I get used to it because around town its a bloody nightmare.

If its a new ish one the exhaust port is 5mm lower. That's why the exhaust don't fit. I'm just cooking Sunday Dinner so will get back to you :)

Get in contact with Phillip of the Scooter Center. They have made a small batch of special brackets for the Mugello owners (to avoid problems with the higher exhaust stub), i´m pretty sure they will improve them in the next series, too.

As far is I know the guys from SCC, they will send you one to improve the exhaust. 8-)

The fit isn't really a problem. The main silencer and the downpipe didn't go together very well even before I tried to fit them. Now everything is mounted its all ok. Just noisy.

No, it´s about the fitment. The guys here in Germany already tried it - due to the fitting problems with the Mugello, you´ll have strain over the whole system and minor leaks will occure, which are responsible for the noise.

With the changed mounting the noise will be improved.

The mugello barrel is a good few years old. The pipe really isn't a bad fit. I'll send an email to scc and see what they say.
