Hi,

I have a 1970 GP150 (well...with a 225 Rapido!) which is currently turquoise blue per the 125cc.

As it was (I believe) originally either red or white is there any way of telling (or finding out) which it was before I lose too much more sleep over it??

Cheers

Rob

it would depend on whether it was blasted prior to respray i suppose ,you would have to cut through your paint to find out ,under the frame loop would be a good starting point

Good idea. It does seem to have been a really good job before but you never know there may be some remnants somewhere.

Cheers!

If it's a Brit scooter that has been registered here from new, then you can apply for all the previous keeper details and you will get photocopies of all the old logbooks which will show the original colour. That's how I found out the original colour of my old multi coloured GP200E. See: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/Ow ... DG_4022067

You need the V888 and it costs a £5.

Cheers for that. I'll give it a whirl. The longer I have it though the more I love the colour so who knows....maybe I can sleep after all!!
