sip speedos again

now on my 3rd sip speedo and a little rain and theres water in the damn thing again thought they had sorted this problem out
if I dry it out with a hairdryer and try and seal it around the rim with some mastic will that be ok, or now the inside has been wet the components will stop working??

Send it back otherwise you won't have a claim if you've fecked about with it..
