Cutting out when under load

Had the T5 out today but is cutting out when under load. Any ideas what it could be? Idles fine and revs perfect. Just completely dies when getting above 5mph. Gonna strip the carb out tomorrow as I'm thinking being starved of fuel. Any ideas anyone?

or starved of air.....stator/cdi may be breaking down, or possibly piston rings stuck....

Start of with fuel supply, check fuel line not kinked and carb float is working properly. Next step check electrics, spark plug, ht lead, cdi unit. Replace with a known working part on a mates scooter, dont assume that a new part works. It cost me months of work, replaced all the switches, cdi, ht and spark plug with new and found out that two of the new parts did not work either. It took forever to work out the problem.
