Hello there,
I presently have a lambretta inboard disc (mechanical) and am looking at a hydraulic conversion for the same with little or no alteration to the original base plate..
looking for solutions on on how to go about this

I know of a couple of scootrs ones that had problems with the circlip popping out. I checked the last one I sold and found that the circlip didn't seat that well so I used a scribe to clean some of the paint / powder coat from the groove and fitted an MB s/s circlip and it was fine then.
I've got some of the hydraulic pistons as above, they're around the £50 mark. I'd also recommend changing the banjo for one with a bleed nipple.

I use a CS Engineering caliper. I was going to fit a banjo and a bleed nipple but once you have mastered the grub screw that CS use, it's just as easy to be honest as long as you take the hub out of the forks and lay it horizontal.

With reference to the circlips comming out, I was talking to Chris at CS Engineering the other week and he sai d to make sure the circlip is put in the right way up i.e. with the 'sharp' edge (formed by the stamping process)outermost.

Has the Peugeot master cylinder been modified to make it fit the throttle housing or is the housing different to the ScootRs type housings ?storkfoot wrote:.... Peugeot speedfight 100 master cylinder..

I have a Speedfighter master cylinder which I modified to fit the scootrs type housing but wasn't all that happy with the fit...think I might re-visit it.
