Just fitted new MB Clutch flange to MB crownwheel and Foxhat spider. Before fitting the flange the standard flange allowed a 6 plate clutch using 5 plate clutch corks and 1.2mm steel plates. MB's Clutch flange has allowed the same 6 corks but with the standard 1.5mm steel plates. Apart from the advantage of a better life expectancy of the steel plates, the flange looks the part. Only issue was having to file the legs of the flange slightly to fit the Foxhat spider (don't know if thats the same with a standard spider) and the lugs of the first two steels required filing to allow them to sit flat, again this was really no problem. I'm sure there will be more permutations as for the amount of plates fitted, but I'm ok with a six plate.
