ok thanks guys, the rim is powdercoated, so I had wondered about that, but when it was on the dyno I managed to get right up close and watch it, and the run out is in the hub, wierdly enough the tyre looks to run quite true???
hoping its just the hub.
whats the choices of rear hubs

I asked the same question a while ago and got the same answers.
So I ordered a UNI hub,had it painted and then fitted it to the bike, it ran nowhere near true and pulsed alot under braking, so i had it machined and that helped alot but its still not great.
As with anything else with lambrettas ,don't expect the best available to always be fit for purpose.
