Progress has slowed. All the big jobs seemed to rattle along but I seem to have been p1551ing about with bits of wire for days now. All I have to show for it is a rear light and a brake light that works from both brakes.
I've got Monday off and then its the bank holiday and so I should hopefully make some decent progress again.
Annoyingly I've got to take re-route the hydraulic hose and the speedo cable. They come out of the wrong holes at the bottom of the fork and the speedo cable goes through a tight bend that will wear out the inner quite quickly. That entails stripping the headset again

First Test Ride
Runs like crap, too rich by far and the back light only works if you punch it. But that's small beer in the great scheme of things.
Feeling rather pleased with myself.
After seeing this:

I took this:

Stripped it and found this

On the way I've found out of line wheels, hubs that wont spin and an engine manufactured in the Islamic Republic of Iran
Despite that, I ended up with this
