interested in the below spec what top speed etc we looking at and rough cost and who would build it for me?

Engine: T5 casing, AF TS1 barrel, extra boost port, 188/128 port timing, Readspeed centre plug head, Wossner Yamaha YZ 250 piston,
V-Force reed block.
Mikuni fuel pump.

Hi mate. I am confused as the t5 barrel's port config is so much better than a ts1. It has so much potential. If you wanted to go reed I would look doing that conversion on a t5 or malossi barrel ir casing rather than using a ts1. To me that seems a hell of a lot of work for not much gain. Plus the stroke of the t5 is much shorter than a ts so more issues there getting timings correct. I think you would get similar power output by looking at stroking a malossi 172 and a case reed tbh. Much less grief.

If you want to go exotic rather than a ts1 barrel I would look around to see what's available from the motorcycle world. If you didn't mind going LC there is a lot to choose from but I would definitely look at increasing the stroke somehow even if it meant having the crank re-pinned. I am sure there is enough meat on that crank but its a long time since I looked at one. On my 90ss thread in 'show us scoots' there is a pic of a modded malossi t5 barrel I did that I never run but it shows what's possible.

Wondering why you want a 57mm stroke on the TS1 ? won't that throw your port timings out ?

But why a lambretta barrel? They are so restricted on one side due to the stud configuration. If its a blank page I certainly wouldn't be binning a t5 barrel over a lambretta one.

I was gonna do this but time an money too many projects made me shelve it. I actually have matched T5 cases welded and machined looks the business an a TS1 225 barrel fits perfectly. I have 3 engines in bits all for sale if anyones Is
