center stand spring.
do they do a slightly shorter spring heavy duty for a series 3, i have lots of play in the stand when it is up and my the looks of it the spring just needs to be shorter?

Never seen a shorter spring for the center stand. What usually happens is the stand bolts have gotten loose or the brackets are worn out and are allowing play in the stand.
It's a Lambretta and will shake its self apart unless you use locking hardware.

Make sure the 'J' brackets haven't had the re-inforcing plates inserted as spacers, the brackets should be bolted directly to the frame. Using the plates as spacers is a dodge sometimes used when aftermarket stands sit too upright but then make the spring too short.
Cheers guys, after investigation the centre struct weld has come away, so needs sorting, new weld, new j brackets, bolts etc.
