Rear brake cable dilema

Whilst the problem here is related to the fixing at the front of the cable, I supply a link to the instructions for fitting my QA brake cables, as there are useful pointers for fitting the cable to be effective.

I draw the readers attention to the use of a cable tie in order to take-up the slack on the inner cable, which works well whether you use one of my QA cables, or the traditional set-up.

Have you tried putting a washer on the bolt then putting cable through, then another washer before putting the last clamp on ?

Done, sorted, washer did the trick, painfully obvious really...thanks all for the advice
