I've always ran pretty much standard motors (stage 4 200,Rapido 200, Honda 205 etc) and used fag and skf bearings and rolf seals. This time out I'm building an Avanti and wanted the best possible bearings and seals.
I've heard a lot of talk about viton seals failing so should I stick to the rolf seals as I've never had any trouble with them. Also there seems to be a lot of talk about sub-standard and copied bearings.
If you were going to going to build a motor and throw a fair old wedge at it what bearings would you use.
I would rather spend a bit more and grieve a bit less. Any feed back would be much appreciated.

Its what Yamaha uses.
In the past I've used German SKF bearings but getting real ones is getting tough now (without paying an arm/leg for them).
