I'm getting my TS1 ready for the C to C and for the last few years, it has a standard Indian flywheel. But I do have a 1.4Kg AF flywheel and keep toying with putting that on before the above trip. Apart from the clearance issue, I have a nagging doubt thinking that it may be too light and be a real pain at low revs or tick over and the other issue is, if it ain't broke, don't change anything.

But is 1.45Kg too light, although Dan and Sean seem to say that they use them.

ive put a heavier flywheel on mine, mainly because I got sick of slipping the clutch like f@@k to pull away 2"s up and loaded up, the heavier flywheel has helped. I ran the AF light one for a few years , with no clearance issues, and its on another scooter with no probs. my advice for what its worth, keep your scooter as it is for c2c, if its not broke etc.... (thatll happen DURING the C2C , when bits eject off on the rough bits.... :D )
