So if I've understood correctly...
First the shim goes on
Then the small seal which sits just inside the carrier on top of the bearing
Then the big O ring
Then the carrier. The O ring sits in the groove that is created between the carrier and the back of the link.
This is the bit that confused me. It just doesn't seem very effective as a seal but I guess the inner one keeps the grease in, the big O ring just helps keep the dirt out.
Then the shim with the flat side in the middle
Then the circlip holds it all in place.
Then the main bit of the hub goes over that.
