Which carb for new MB clubman?

I'm currently running a '62 Li 125 series 3 with an AF 198cc (66mm) kit, 22mm Jetex, 42mm AF clubman and 46x16 gearing.

I needed a new exhaust so bit the bullet and bought one of the new MB Clubmans, to make the best of the exhaust I guess a bigger/better carb would be ideal and was thinking of a 26mm PHBH and breathsweet filter.

Would this be a good option or does anyone have any other suggestions and do you think the gearing would be ok as it is, currently around 5.3 according to the gear calculator as it's an early 'box.

I'm running a 26 delly on a similar clubman, I had mine made as I couldn't be arsed to wait. Having a 5 speed fitted so not run it properly yet but MB did say the 26 would restrict it a little.

I certainly would go for a 28mm carb with that setup.
