So did you have a chin-strap for the sraw-boater?
Yellow 'continental' light tint: thaughtfull, but the continental 'birds' would be the only ones to see it over the luggage.
Was the rear crash bar usefull as extra luggage capacity, or did you fend-off wayward 2CVs with it?

Reminiscing is great but when you have a photo and something real you can touch from that time (scooter) it becomes priceless. Enjoy the memories Ray, i for one like joining you down memory lane.

I just remember you digging out the projector and the screen in the living room and telling us about the trip back in the early 80`s.
