Vespa T5 Flywheel bearing? Updated with clutch problem...

It'll be crushed between the gearing at a guess and may be ok
but I wouldn't want the pressure plate coming out at 7000 rpm so get a clip on it and check the flat in the clutch centre hole, if worn it will let the plate spin wearing the clip.

I've fitted it all correctly with the clip. It seemed to sit nicely and felt like it was in firm, the pressure plate that is.

I've been to work on it this morning, and not heard any rattles or felt anything a-miss. Most of my commute is fast dual carridge way.

There's a great DVD about vespa engine rebuilding and trouble shooting. It's worth it and very easy to follow. Adhesives are not a good idea, if they were that good you would never get the part off.

something metal missing and the likelihood its floating around in your gear box? I"d be splitting the motor for a proper look. you wouldn't believe some of the stuff ive fished out of f@@ked gearboxes over the years.. crushed 8mm socket anyone?
