sip tap no fuel??

hi fitted a new sip fast flow tap to a mates px, now when you turn petrol on you can undo the banjo on carb and no fuel comes out but if you pull the pipe to the bottom of the carb box it floods out.
can anyone tell me whats wrong cant figure it out as scooter only starts now and then and only till the fuel runs out :cry:

Sounds like you've got the bit the tap on/off bar goes into in the wrong way round. If its not that there's not a lot to them, take it out and the bar etc off and you'll see 3 holes, if you pop the tall brass pipe and filter off blow into the holes with an airline ,you'll soon see what does what and if there's a blockage. P.s If its not a reserve type tap the hole on the left will be a blank.

Sounds like your fuel pipe has got a kink in it, have you got any spare fuel pipe hose you can try?
If not put it back in place and try to visually follow the fuel pipe and check for any pinch points, give it a squeeze at any suspect areas in see if that helps

pipe kinked check where it comes out of the frame

thanks for replies its all sorted now rerouted and cut it 3 inches shorter
