Can't you loosen the stand brackets and move it 5mm to the right?

My bad  where did you get it from? If its from Asia it could be a dodgy one. Don't get me wrong not all Asian stuff is rubbish but a lot of it is. I would try a genuine SIL one from Scooter restorations or a genuine Innocenti one.

the stand came with the scoot, sat perfect with a pm pipe on it, the stand will not move over even if i loosen the stand fixings either, it needs to move over around 50mm not 5mm.

does this pipe have a separate u bend section, if so could main expansion not slide further onto u bend by trimming down the lugs on that huge alloy front exhaust bracket by a few mm or removing what look like rubber inserts if thats what they are

I remember modding a stand for a mate a few years ago. He was using a genuine Taffy pipe. I added about 12mm to the width of the stand.

took 5mm from both sides of the slip joint and "tweeked" the fitment - it helped kink out the tailpipe away from the rear side panel - used a scooter loopy john fixing and worked well - the secret is to not have the exhaust stressed when loosly fitted as they tend to crack/fail otherwise

dont you just love lambrettas :)

i would now check the ground clearance of the stand on right handers, you dont want it digging in and launching you off, just a thought as it looks well outside your runner board.
