rapido 225
Hi ive been sorting out bits and ive got a 200 crankcase a 60mm crank with a 115mm rod and a 225 standard rapido barrel,ive no head or piston .So can anyone give me any options on pistons etc and preferbly not mega exspensive ,ie . something i could build myself. Thanks

I put one of thesein mine, more or less the same spec, I had AF match one of their heads to the piston profile.
The only problem is there's no oversizes, if you need a rebore you'll be looking for something else.
Also with the rapido it's worth carefully measuring your port timings and clearances.
I'd have to say for what I've spent tweaking it I could have bought and avanti.

Af do some good 2ring pistons and not to highly priced but I would def get it tuned it transformed my scooter I tried everything with no joy got it tuned and away it went the tuning was the best money I have ever spent

Does the packer not negate the benefits of using a longer rod?
