Rookies on a track day

Post pics & videos of your scooter, projects you're working on, a lovely Vespa that you saw at a rally, or anything else scooter related.

A couple of us went to our local race track last weekend for a bit of fun at a track day

It was good fun! Great weather and only one minor breakdown on the vespa with a cracked exhaust.

I'm definitely keen to do it again

My only complaint was my exhaust! How can it be called a 'race' exhaust when it has no ground clearance!

We've had hot sunny days here for the last 3-4 months! It's great but I still haven't been out enough in my scooter!

Look a good day out! Your's will be the Black 'Special' then. The exhaust does look 'low slung' at the front to me...like a TS1 exhaust on an RB cylinder might hang....... if you follow :?

What about the white bike...'one off' exhaust? and what is that boss on the chain case opposite the front sprocket bolt?

Interested to know :)

Yep that's my black special. It's a franspeed race on a ts1

I probably need a one off like Dans rb pipe

I think the casing is a repaired one where that front sprocket bolt has come undone

Looks good fun.
Only looks like mm of clearance on that first pic of the black special(exhaust).
