GORI exhaust
I must admit I was quite impressed with the Gori exhaust on a mates scoot I was working on, seemed well made, easy to take off and replace, and with the little end can on, sounded really nice, not too loud, revved on better than an AF or ordinary type big bore, a bit expensive though I think.

the small bore gori with internal baffles really surprised me,it did 22bhp on a touring tuned rapido i did
225cc /30mm carb ,think the graph is in dyno section, been on for a good year now and holding up well

i think theyll hold up well,i read some dyno tests on the small bore gori that showed it a little down on the new pipes but !!! the comparison was done on a 255cc motor so was always gonna show the smaller bore pipe as an underperformer so for small block owners especially and 200 owners where the pipe will appeal most it may turn out to be the best? as well as the 225 i did that worked really well

I love the sound of my Sport.
Standard iron 175 barrel but a massive uptake from the old exhaust which could have been the original innocenti.
Has caused the engine to rev beyond what the carb can deliver in terms of fuel mixture it seems as though, trying to cure that with a bigger carb

Cheers for that. I have sent Gori an email and asked what they have done to quieten the Sport version down (apparently they have). Also, as I have an 8mm packer on the GT186 it is going on, I have asked them if they could not weld the chaincase bracket on, and leave it to me to do.
Maybe by the time I get a reply, one of the other Clubmans will be ready

According to a dealer selling them the quality is up and down and they used to pick the acceptable ones and send back the "seconds" to Gori. Where these seconds end up I don't know, and I've only heard this from the dealer so perhaps should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Mine is rusting terribly though and when I ran into Dean at a scooter weekender in Italy last summer he advised to powder coat it in transparent lacquer.
Will sand mine down in the coming month and fingers crossed that a powder coater will accept it although it's been used...
