rear brake pedal bush

I forgot about this number then sent it off to be chromed....never done one of these before looks a right barsteward....I take it some heat and the tool and hammer?

Usual trick is to hacksaw through bush from the inside in a couple of places, should just fall out.
In case its not obvious, you put the blade though the hole before fixing it into the saw frame and saw outwards, as it were. Stop before the shiney bit.

I had the same problem, forgot about it before it was chromed, the chrome was rock, but as said previously just hack saw through its length inside and it will fold up and fall out.

I now have the problem of the brake pivot being worn, 0.9mm gap between bush and pivot means the pedal rocks around 50mm at its tip which mr MOT man will not be happy with, ordered a brake shoe pivot and will now have to drill and tap 8mm hole after cutting old pivot off, first time ive done this.

My Li 150 s2 failed its mot in the late 60's because the foot brake was loose. Didn't know how or anyone to fix it so stopped riding and got a car... :cry:
