After a bit of advice from anyone who has had this issue before...and to save me reinventing the wheel.

I'm fitting a series 3 fuel tank into a series 1 as it is part of a dual tank set up where the tool box is converted to a tank and they are connected by fuel hose. On the standard series 1 tank rubbers the fuel tank sits too low vs the tool box so I need to jack it up on thicker rubbers.

Was going to buy series 3 rubbers but not sure if they will bring the tank up enough or alternatively buy a block of rubber and cut my own to measure. Before I do either of those options just wondered if anyone had had a similar issue and how you overcame it?

Cheers,

Tom

Sorry I can't answer the question, but you can make dozens of rubber with these door mats, it's a cheap way to experiment.
