Great ideas and brilliant execution.
Jeez guys, no pressure! Anyway, thanks for all the words of encouragement. I dabbled in the british/american chopper and cafe world for a bit (without ever leaving scootering, couldn't do that!) and got a lot of influence from what some of those guys are doing. I have been waiting for the right project to come along where I could bring some of that style over and since I can't rightly cut-up anything complete or original, a frankenbike seems to be just the ticket.
Not a lot of fabbing left to do now, although I still need to make a bracket for the wipac spot lamp, another attachment point for the spare and I might consider making one of those fancy boxes under the left cowl for extra storage. I was able to find a really straight original white Serveta leggy with some rust holes in the floor so once that arrives, I'll be able to mount the spot/oil holder and add another attachment point for the spare.
Still need to find an original white fender and bridge but I think my clubmates at lcusa will have no trouble with that.
