Suppose I had better join in on this one.

As it has already been said Darrell, AF, Dan and a few others have been supplied with heads that have just been machined flat so that they could machine in their own combustion chambers but incorporated the stud holes and plug.

Now with AF as they have finished their testing we are supplying heads machined to their specifications and the Avanti cowl.

We have also supplied an Avanti head for the RB20, yes small block! :o 8-)

Someone asked this earlier in the thread, but can't see any answer? :?

When using the Avanti head on other kits (RB etc.) have you guys also been using the Avanti cylinder cowling (unmodified)??

Cheers,

Tom :)

I have not fitted one myself to an RB / Rapido but apparently AF have and I did ask Ben if the cowl needed any alteration & he said NO

So, just so I've got this right, please confirm that you HAVE to use the Avanti cowling (with an Avanti cylinder head on another kit), as a standard cowling will not fit over the Avanti head??

Cheers :)

Took me a few hours with a dremmel but I eventually got it to fit under a standard cowling. :frog: Only joking Ron.
